DOWDESIGN was founded in 2017 by Fady Dow, Founder and Creative Director, whose multidisciplinary vision bridges art, design, and cultural identity. Born in Haifa to a Finnish mother and an Arab Christian father—himself an artist—Fady grew up immersed in a rich dialogue between two distinct cultures. This unique upbringing continues to shape his artistic language and creative direction.

Fady Dow graduated from the Wizo Academy of Design and Education in Haifa, specializing in Graphic Design and Visual Communication. He later continued his academic journey in the Master’s program (M.Des) in Industrial Design at the Bezalel Academy of Arts & Design in Jerusalem, expanding his practice into the intersection of form, function, and material.

His work is characterized by a distinctive balance between minimalism and expression. Through the use of bold color palettes, refined geometric structures, and fluid lines, Fady creates compositions that are both powerful and delicate. His visual language reflects a deep sense of harmony and serenity, often inspired by nature, music, and the emotional landscapes of everyday life.

In many of his works, Fady integrates text and calligraphic elements, inviting the viewer into a space of reflection and introspection. His creations go beyond aesthetics—they become experiences that engage both the eye and the mind.

Fady Dow has exhibited internationally, with his work presented across diverse spaces and cities worldwide. His designs embody a compelling interplay between strength and subtlety, where minimal elements meet vibrant expression.
